We all tend to get blackheads and whiteheads. They are non-inflammatory types of acne which are also known as microcomedones. Whiteheads form underneath your skin surface due to a blocked pore which contains bacteria and sebum. Blackheads on the other hand are partially blocked pores which contains oxidises bacteria and sebum. Naturally we try to squeeze them by our hand to get rid of them. But this could lead to infection and can also cause severe acne conditions. This can cause more damage to the facial skin.
The well known methods to remove blackheads are by using a blackhead extractor or a blackhead removal strip. If you are using the extractor you will have to gently press it around the skin of the blackhead, which will then be extracted. Remember to sterilise the extractor before using it on your skin to prevent bacteria being spread. Mature whiteheads also can be removed using these extractors. You just need to roll the loop over the whitehead. Black head removal strips are a type of adhesive tape. You have to apply it on the area of the blackheads and pull it out to remove the blackhead.

To remove whiteheads you do not necessarily need to use tools. When they get mature they are ready to explode. You can use a cloth soaked in warm water to gently wipe the area. This will assist you to remove the whitehead. At times this would not work but it would prepare the whitehead for easy extraction and you can gently squeeze it using a cotton pad.

However if you have a severe condition of blackheads or whiteheads it is advisable that you consult a dermatologist or a cosmetic physician. There are two methods that they use to remove blackheads and whiteheads from your face. Namely it would be Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion. Chemical Peels would help remove the upper layer of the skin which in return would assist the easy removal of blackheads and whiteheads. Microdermabrasion uses a treatment procedure which buffs and smoothes your facial skin through crystals. This treatment would remove unblock the clogged pores and would clear up your face.

Apart from the above methods to reduce and prevent your face from getting blackheads and whiteheads there are few skin care products that can be used daily. A cleanser containing Viatmin A or Alpha Hydroxy acid could be used on your face twice a day, which would encourage cell turnover. It can prevent oil or dead skin to clog in the pores. Once you have cleansed your face you should apply a non-alcohol-based toner using a cotton pad. It will help your skin to restore the pH balance.

You can also use Benzoyl Peroxide spot treatment on the blackheads or whiteheads. But make sure you use the appropriate percentage as it comes in different strengths to match different skin types. This will peel your pore making it easier to extract blackheads or whiteheads. Applying a daily sunscreen can also reduce enlarging your facial pores. This will prevent you from getting microcomedones on your face.

If you are reading this then you probably have blackheads on the nose and are probably wondering how to get rid of them. Today I’m going to talk a little bit about what works best for me when dealing with blackheads on the nose. Keep in mind that everybody’s skin is different, but I think that the tips I’m about to give you will help you no matter what.

For those of you that are wondering, blackheads are closed pores that appear on your nose but can also appear on other parts of your face and body. They usually feel hard or bumpy and could sometimes be scraped with your fingernails. Blackheads on the nose are a particularly difficult problem because the skin on the nose is very deep, making blackheads on the nose difficult to extract.

First off make sure to exfoliate. It doesn’t take too much effort. All you have to do is use a facial scrub product a couple of times a week. I personally have sensitive skin and can only use it every other day.

Another important tool to be aware of is a manual extractor. It can be purchased at Target or Walmart or other similar stores and is usually made of stainless steel. This tool is great for blackheads on the nose. Just make sure to clean it properly after each use. The best time to use this tool is right after the shower or after washing your face. It is at this time that your pores are open the most and that you are most likely to be able to extract blackheads properly.

A very important tip is to not apply too much pressure using this tool. Doing so can damage your skin and lead to further breakouts. It may even inflame some of the blackheads so that they turn into full-blown pimples. Remember that blackheads on the nose are hardly noticeable to others and are much better to have than inflamed acne.

I have learned over the course of many years how to properly treat my skin. Blackheads are very different from other types of pimples. Believe it or not I no longer use any type of acne medication on my skin. I instead use natural products that are easy on my skin. Blackheads on the nose are no match for my new regimen. To find out more information on what I used to get me clear, please check out my resource box below. Good luck on your journey toward clear skin!
